What a Wonderful Surprise

On Saturday afternoon I got a call from Meg telling me that she and Colby were thinking about driving up to see us! They were here a few hours later and stayed until the next day. It was so good to see them and we miss them already! Come visit again soon:)

Washington to Idaho

We are finally settled in Idaho! This post took awhile with all the traveling, and once we got here we took a weekend trip to Utah to surprise my family before AJ started his job. Also, I left my camera at my parent's in Utah:(

We didn't think we would say this, but we are sad to leave Washington. We are so happy to be close to family and are so excited about this new time in our lives, but we loved living in Washington and for the friends we made there. Also, our ward was so awesome, and we miss it! We are in an apartment right now, as our house is being built. We should be moving in at the end of May, we are so excited!

We will miss our cousins that we were so grateful to live so close to and always had us over for dinner. We were so lucky to have them so close and miss seeing them so often.
Steph and Kev, we miss you guys! Thanks for being our friends and we can't wait until we see you again. Crue also misses his favorite twinners!!
The weekend before we moved we went and stayed at our friend's Steph and Kevin's. We love them and miss them so much! Crue is only a few months younger than Ty and Gracie and it is so fun seeing them play together. We went to Claim Jumper, their favorite restaurant, and it was delicious!

Watching us bake cookies:)
The move was so stress free having movers come and do it all for us, it was awesome!! The only thing I was worried about was getting this couch back out! It had to exit the same way it entered...from the balcony:) AJ said it was much easier going down than up.
It was so weird sleeping at our apartment the last night with all of our stuff already packed up and gone. It was sorta fun camping out in our family room.
We had quite the trip home! We made it 2 hours to Yakima, WA and our transmission light came on. It was overheating, so we pulled over to let it cool down. We got off the next exit we saw and lucky enough there was an Acura dealer right off the freeway! We barely got there in time to do a transmission flush on our car. After 2 hours we were back on the road. When we stopped for gas, AJ got done filling up and didn't realize the hose had a hole. haha, he came up to the door and turned around and I couldn't stop laughing. We drove the next 4 hours to Boise with the pants in the back of the car and I got the worst headache. We washed them in our hotel that night. When we got up the next morning we stopped for gas again...this time the pump didn't shut off when it was full, it sat there overflowing for a good couple minutes before we realized and had wasted a good ten dollars on gas. We did not have good luck on this trip! Then we drove to Twin Falls, stopped to visit with our sister-in-law, then finished off the last 2 hours to Idaho Falls!! It was a long drive, but we made it safe and had fun stories to tell:)
Crue did awesome on the drive and slept a lot of the way. The one moment I took a picture he was not too happy:) But, you can see his cute little tooth popping up!
When we got into town we checked on our lot and they dug our hole!! It is so fun to drive by and see how it changes, we are so excited!
It is so nice to be minutes away from AJ's family and a few hours away from mine. AJ started his job today, and we are so happy to be here and feel more settled in once our house is finished and we can un-box everything!

Bored....

The movers came today! It was so nice just sitting back and watching other people pack up your things. Now Crue and I are real bored. We don't have much entertainment, we just sit in the middle of an empty room with his play gym and my computer. It will be kind of fun sleeping on our air mattress tonight and camping out in our apartment. AJ's last day of work is tomorrow and then we will be hitting the road and heading for Idaho! It is so weird that this chapter of our life is already over. We are excited to see how Idaho will be and to be close to family!
